Dharma Through Games
Awaken Challenge is an annual youth project organised by Poh Ming Tse Temple which aims to promote bonding among Buddhist youths from Tertiary Institutions and Temple Youth Groups in Singapore. These contestants will compete in a series of challenges, comprising quiz questions, team presentations and debates.
Quiz
As if participating in a television game show, contestants will answer a series of challenging multiple-choice questions that will test their knowledge of Buddhist doctrine and history from all the Buddhist traditions. Speed and accuracy are vital!
Debate
Watch our top teams spar with one another as they debate about some of the most pertinent issues of today from a Buddhist perspective. Do our contestants have the ability to listen, think, and speak on their feet? Join us to find out!
Presentation
Presentation skills are a must in today's information age. Witness our contestants present their ideas about a given topic within a defined time limit of between three to five minutes. Precision and clarity of communication are crucial to emerge victorious!
